A massage from your National Officer
Dear Amazing SCOPHeroes, It is with
pleasure and honor introducing to
you the survival kit for SCOPH at
NGA9 .
Reading this guide thoroughly will
help you in getting an overview about
the committee and what are we
hoping to successfully achieve in the
session.
We are going to spend every minute
in the session in different ways of
getting new information and
knowledge and surely we will not
forget the fun part ;) I have this belief
that we as medical students are the
change our community needs and with great commitment and devotion,
we are already on it with the NGA9.
SCOPH agenda was based on our region’s needs; therefore we will
exchange ideas, learn more and present our work to make future changes
and successes in our region .

IFMSA introduction
The International Federation of Medical Students Associations
(IFMSA), founded in 1951, is one of the world's oldest and
largest student-run organizations. It represents, connects and
engages every day with a inspiring and engaging network of 1.3
million medical students from 124 national members
organizations in 116 countries around the globe.
What We Do?
IFMSA brings people together to exchange, discuss and initiate
projects to create a healthier world. It gives its members the
skills and resources to be health leaders. It advocates for
pressing issues that matter to shape the world we want. And it
does deliver: our projects, our campaigns and our activities
positively impact the physicians-to be and the communities
they serve.
SCOPH introduction
The Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH) brings together medical
students from all over the world to learn, build skills, cooperate, explore and
share ideas when it comes to addressing all issues related to public health,
including global health issues, health policies, health promotion and education,
activities .
Vision
The Standing Committee on Public Health aims to become a reference as
training and learning pillars for medical students, in order to create future
public health qualified leaders who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and
values to work on a local and an international level.
Mission
The Standing Committee on Public Health promotes the development of
medical students worldwide regarding public health issues through an
international sharing knowledge network, projects management, community
based learning, capacity building, advocacy and access to external learning
opportunities .

we will talk about our atchevmintes and efferts done in this scope in the
last 6 months and what is our next steps regarding this issues .

30 min Mental health and infectious diseases
Talking about mental health and infectious diseases and their impact on the society and how harm these problems are in our region.
20 min Small working group discussion
Will divide the session into 5 groups and to discuss and write ideas about the following topics: Mental health , infectious diseases , anti microbial resistance , respiratory disorders ,cardiovascular diseases
20 min Presentations Each group will present their idea to everyone and share their thoughts with others
