3.3 Detail page: Time Series AnalysisTime Series Analytics provides analysis for five KPIs (Number of visits, Number of unique visits, Number of page viewed, Number of hits, Bandwidth) of the data collected when client hosts access Web servers. KPI information is displayed according to a selected server during a selected time period, viewed by Day, Week, and Month. A geospatial map, indicates all clients’ location and the server location, as well as the KPI information on each client and server. The solution provides two Tiles for Time Series Analysis as these reports have different underlying architecture, though the interface and functions for both are the same.
Time Series Analysis using Near-line storageThe solution provides the option for using Near-line storage with the Hive interface, open-source software, for using larger volumes of data in Time Series Analysis. Because the foundation and parameters of data are different when using Near-line storage, we have chosen to create a separate Tile within the solution for this option. When the Time Series Analysis (Near-line storage) is visible, the report is created using SAP HANA Smart Data Access (Data Virtualization) with data from Near-line storage or other remote data source. SAP Smart Data Access is a data virtualization feature in SAP HANA that allows you to access remote data without having to first replicate that data to the SAP HANA database. This allows your system to be configured for accommodating larger volumes of data from remote sources, for example SAP IQ, SAP ASE, or other remote near-line storage. The data from remote sources is combined with SAP HANA physical tables and uses SAP HANA models.Since the report Time Series Analysis (Near-line storage) is created using remote data, if your system has not been configured for remote access data, the report is empty. The data from the Time Series Analysis tile is only that data from your SAP HANA database. For more information about SAP HANA Smart Data Access, see the SAP Help Portal. The page structure, interface actions, features, and functions as well as the KPIs are the same for Time Series Analysis and Time Series Analysis (Near-line storage) and described in the following subsections.

4. Time Period From/To selection – Filter the analysis of the access data by to and from dates. 5. Geospatial Analysis icon - Selecting the icon changes the display to a geographical map displaying the location of all client hosts as green pin icons, and
your selected server location as a red pin icon. When selecting or hovering over a green icon on the map, a dialog box provides information indicating the user name or pages, depending on your previous filter selection. Selecting or hovering over the red server location icon provides a dialog box with list and count totals depending on your previous filter selection.
6. Pie chart icon – Selecting this icon changes the display to pie chart visualization. The chart represents the access numbers based on Last 60 days for all servers. Select individual segments in the chart for details.
7. Expand icon - Selecting the expand icon enlarges the current Data view to full-screen mode, Choosing the same icon with the current view as full-screen returns to the initial view.
8. Map Selection – (Geospatial Analysis only) Map selection allows you to choose view options: Map view (such as a road map), Terrain (such as physical geography, for example elevation), or Satellite (such as actual images of the geographic area taken by satellites).
9. Polygon icon– (Geospatial Analysis only) Selecting allows you to create a filter for data by geographic location.1. Pins - Choosing Pins allows you to select multiple individual location icons for analysis. Each choice changes the Total number of access number at top
of screen.2. Polygons – Selecting Polygons allows you to define a customized area on the map by creating a polygon. A polygon is a boundary area created by a
chain of straight lines automatically connected to nodes you create. With Polygons selected, left-click a location on the map and a blue node icon is created. Left-click additional locations on the map to create additional nodes. Straight lines automatically connect between nodes to define an area on the map (polygon). The Total number of access data changes to reflect the total inside the boundaries of the polygon.o Once a node has been created, it cannot be moved. o The first node you create is the anchor and straight lines connect to the new node to the anchor.o Any grouping created by pins and polygons has no effect on pie chart resultso Any created polygon is cleared when leaving the page, which means the grouping is lost when you return to the pie chart.
Noteo You can use a combination of Pins and Polygons to create a group for analysis. o
3. Clear – Removes all selections created using pins and polygons10. The Data view shows the data in the preconfigured map/ bar chart. The bar chart is the initial view for the data view.

3.7 Detail page: Actual and Predictive AnalysisActual and predictive Analytics reports help analysis the actual and predictive values for the KPI (Number of visits, Number of unique visitors, Bandwidth), viewed by Month / Week / Day. The actual value is filtered by the selected Web server during selected time period. The predictive values are calculated based on actual values as well as the forecast period. The solution provides two Tiles for Actual and Predictive Analysis as they have different underlying architecture, though the interface and functions for both are the same.
Actual and Predictive Analysis using Near-line storageThe solution provides the option for using Near-line storage with the Hive interface, open-source software, for using larger volumes and sources of data in Actual and Predictive Analysis. Because the foundation and parameters of data are different when using Near-line storage, we have chosen to create a separate Tile within the solution for this option. When the Actual and Predictive Analysis (Near-line storage) is visible, the report is created using SAP HANA Smart Data Access (Data Virtualization) with data from Near-line storage or other remote data source. SAP Smart Data Access is a data virtualization feature in SAP HANA that allows you to access remote data without having to first replicate that data to the SAP HANA database. This allows your system to be configured for accommodating larger volumes and sources of data from remote sources, for example SAP Sybase IQ, SAP Sybase ASE, or other remote near-line storage. The data from remote sources is combined with SAP HANA physical tables and uses SAP HANA models.Since the report Actual and Predictive Analysis (Near-line storage) is created using remote data, if your system has not been configured for remote access data, the report is empty. The data from the Actual and Predictive Analysis tile is only that data from your SAP HANA database. For more information about SAP HANA Smart Data Access, see the SAP Help Portal. The page structure, interface actions, features, and functions as well as the KPIs are the same for Actual and Predictive Analysis and Actual and Predictive Analysis (Near-line storage) and is described in the following subsections.
