How the Air works
The main air valve sleeve and spool distributes compressed air to an air chamber exerting uniform pressure over the inner surface of the diaphragm.
At the same time, the compressed air that is on the opposite diaphragm is being directed through the main air valve sleeve and spool to the exhaust port.

How the Air works
Incoming compressed air is directed by the pilot valve to the outer surface of the main air valve spool.
The Cross Drill port is exposed to in-coming compressed air which allows positive pressure to ensure a full shift of the spool, eliminating “Centering”.
The main spool opens the ports to allow the incoming compressed air to apply force to the inner face of the diaphragm creating the discharge stroke.

Exhaust air is directed by the main air valve to atmosphere.
Pressure is lowered in the chamber resulting in a pressure differential.

7 Proprietary and Confidential
As compressed air is directed to the inner face of one diaphragm the diaphragm rod pulls the opposite diaphragm forcing the exhaust air out of the chamber.
The inner plate on the exhaust side of the pump engages the actuator plunger, shifting the pilot valve.
Piloted air shifts the main air valve spool.

8 Proprietary and Confidential
The result of the air being piloted across main air valve and the diaphragm rod connecting the two diaphragms is a shifting pump.
