APPRECIATION LUNCHEON Join us for our parishioner/volunteer appreciation luncheon on Sunday, December 3, 2017 after the 11:00 AM Liturgy in the MCC. Everyone is invited to join us and celebrate our successes throughout the year.
SAVE THE DATE On December 8, we will have liturgy at 7:00 PM for Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation. After the liturgy, there will be a reconciliation service so that we may better pre-pare ourselves spiritually to celebrate this Christ-mas season; we will have several priests available for confessions.
THANK YOU On behalf of the MYO, thank you for help in making a difference by supporting our Thanks-giving Service Project. MYO was able to pro-vide 30 Thanksgiving baskets to the Seton Home, an organization that works to break the cycle of abuse and poverty for young mothers and their children. Your support and prayers are greatly appreciated.
CHURCH CLEANING If you are free or if you have some time, come and help us clean the church on Saturday, December 2, 2017 starting at 9:00 AM. We will need lots of hands to help out and make the work easier and faster. Your help is needed and greatly appreciated.
DEEPEST SYMPATHY Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of K (Sandra) Joseph, parishioner of St. George, who passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Monday, November 27, 2017: 10:00 AM Visitation 10:30 AM Rosary followed by the funeral liturgy. All services will take place at St. George Maro-nite Catholic Church (6070 Babcock Rd., San Antonio, TX 78240). Please keep Sandra and her family in your pray-ers. Grant her rest O Lord, and may your perpetu-al light shine upon her. Amen.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS
We will be electing a new parish pastoral council, for a term of 2 years, on the weekend of December
2-3, 2017 after all weekend Liturgies. ALL ACTIVE PARISHIONERS can participate in the elections of
the new pastoral council.
“A person enjoys the power to vote in the elections (and also to nominate a candidate) if he/she is a
member of the parish IN GOOD STANDING and is at least eighteen (18) years of age.” “ACTIVE PA-
RISHIONER” is defined as a registered parishioner who attends Mass on a regular basis, Sundays and Holy
Days; contributes their TIME, (i.e. volunteering), TALENT (i.e. teaching, choir, parish ministries, etc.), and
TREASURE (regular contribution in the parish offertory) (Eparchial guidelines).
