so she started the

National Leadership Institute and a leadership camp in California

The leadership camp was held in

La Honda, CALa Honda, CA

I attended the camp in 1976

My world expanded because the words of

Earl inspired me and others in attendance

I kept returning as a staff member because I was inspired

by the wizard

Earl, you let me share the stage with you

In 1978, while leading songs, I brought a delegate up on stage to help me...Phil Boyte

who became a staff member

Scott Greenberg was a delegate and later became a staff member

and later...a speaker

Micah Jacobson was my “shadow director” when I directed a CASC camp and became a member of the staff

and later...a speaker

Challenged by two delegates to a basketball game at CASC camp, Phil and I beat them...the delegates

Keith Hawkins & Rick Minniefield who became staff members and better basketball players

and later...speakers
