WHAT WE DORadiology faculty members provide image interpretation and discuss their findings with attending veterinarians.
All imaging modalities are linked to a central computer, which provides permanent storage of the images and allows viewing access throughout the hospital within minutes of completion of an imaging examination.
Radiology faculty clinicians also provide outreach consultations using teleradiography for veterinarians across the country.
HOW WE DO ITDiagnostic Radiology Service has access to state-of-the-art equipment for diagnoses, including:
• Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy • Ultrasound • Nuclear medicine • Computed tomography (CT) • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
WHO WE AREThe Radiology Service has six board-certified veterinary radiologists, two of whom are also board certified in radiation oncology. Additionally, the service has three veterinarians in residency training to become radiologists.
