Entertainment Films have a large portfolio with films ranging from kids such as; Space Chimps 1 & 2 and Spy Kids 4, to adult action films like; The Grey and Colombiana. This shows the company already have a large portfolio in the films they distribute meaning there is a high chance of joining it

Related Films

Not only do they have a large portfolio but they have a large number of related films to mine such as Colombiana (2011) which is about a female assassin trying to find revenge. This film is nearly identical to mine this could be a way to attract an already existing audience to this genre.

History

Entertainment Film Distributors is a

British distributor of independent films in

the UK and Ireland for various production

companies, currently run by Nigel and

Trevor Green. Nigel and Trevor

formed Entertainment Film Distributors,

and was one of the leading forces in UK

distribution. Their first big success was

Teen Wolf (1985) starring Michael J. Fox.

Entertainment also released films for

Empire Pictures and New World Pictures.

They have also released BAFTA and Oscar

winning films including The

Departed, Million Dollar Baby, Gosford

Park, Brokeback Mountain and The Artist.

My Film

Due to my film fitting in with the current portfolio and also being a British independent film there is a high chance of them backing my film as it is a genre and plot they are comfortable releasing based on the previous films they have backed.
