Card Stacking (stacking the deck) Presents only positive information Leaves out any information that can be seen

Virtue Words (Glittering Generalization) Make broad statements Relates to an idea that people value Love, wisdom, happiness, peace

Name-calling Uses negative words or words with negative

emotions to make you dislike something Seen frequently in politics Examples:
