What is Cyberbullying?• Cyberbullying is the use of technology to
harass, threaten, embarrass or target another person.
How Cyberbullying affects people
• Cyberbullying affects people because you can never get away for cyberbullying. When you go to school you see your bully and when you go home and you think your ok you get bullied over the internet.
Where you see Cyberbulling the most
• You see cyberbullying through texting, online chat rooms, email, facebook, myspace, twitter,ect.
Why its a problem
• cyber bullying is a problem because kids feel vulnerable when they are bullied. They don’t know how to handle it and they don’t want to tell their family and they would commit suicide.
Cyberbullying statistics
• 25% of children have been cyberbullied
• From the ages 14 to 17 is when people get cyberbullied the most.
How we can personally stop cyberbullying
• We can stop cyberbullyng by stop being bystanders and stick up for the person being bullied.
• If you see cyber bullying tell a trusted adult.
• If you are the one being bullied ignore the mean comments and tell a trusted adult.
• Tell the person cyberbullying to think how he would feel if he was cyberbullied.
One way to address cyberbulling to Government
• The government could hire people to help supervise the sites that our younger ones are getting cyberbulled on. This is one way we can help stop cyberbulling in Minnesota.
Our Solutions
• To get a grant to have more police officers on school grounds to prevent bullying at school.
• To make stricter consequences on cyberbullying.
