'Self' project week

In the early 1980s, Hockney began to produce photocollages, which he called 'joiners'.Using Polaroid snaps or photolab-prints of a single subject, Hockney arranged a patchwork to make a composite image.

Create you own photo-collage, using photos of yourself.

...or an object you have brought in.

Paint Trolley, 1985

Use existing photos or get a camera and partner up

Decide if you want whole body shots or just centre on the face

Calculate how many shots will be needed per area of body/object

Upload and edit the photos and print out, collaging prints together
