The hotel in Krusevo is currently in the final stage of construction on location in Krusevo, a small
mountain resort 1250 m above sea level, 155 kilometers from Skopje.
The hotel is being constructed as a four star mountain recreation hotel, with accommodation
capacity of 47 units, consisting of apartments, studios and double rooms. Nine large two-storey
apartments are located on the last floor. The public areas consist of a lobby, cafeteria and bar,
two restaurants, congress center, wine club, closed swimming pool with fitness facilities for hotel
guests and spa center open for hotel and outside guests, own parking area.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Krusevo town, right next to the rich forest and in the
immediate vicinity of a ski center. The town of Krusevo and its surroundings offer a wide range of
recreation possibilities, in particular skiing, hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, hunting and
fishing. The town has a sport area and soccer field donated by FIFA, for recreation and training of
soccer teams. Above all Krusevo offers ideal climate conditions for paragliding, due to which it is
the host of international paragliding competitions.
The building is being constructed by the company KORIJA DOO Krusevo, established for the
purpose of carrying out the project.
The hotel is a reconstruction of a previously existing old hotel, originally constructed in 1949 as
the first hotel constructed after the Second World War in former Yugoslavia. The old hotel was
purchased by KORIJA in 2006. During the reconstruction some of the old hotel elements have
been retained to preserve the traditional appearance of the building.
The initial surface area of the old hotel was 2400m2 and additional 2164m2 have been
constructed. Total required funds for reconstruction and adaptation of the purchased building was
3.800.000,00 Euro, of which 2.200.000,00 Euro have been invested to date.

KRUŠEVO is a small town in Western Republic of Macedonia. Historic Kruševo was one
the center of the Macedonian Ilinden-Uprising. Today the main celebrations of the
National holiday on the 2nd of August are held here.
CURIOSITIES
Settled on 1350 meters above the see level, Kruševo is the highest city in the
Balkans.
In 1926 Kruševo was visited by the internationally renown architect Le Corbusier who
admired the local architecture.
On 2nd of August 1903 the Ilinden Uprising started in Kruševo, the biggest rebellion
of the Macedonians against the Turks. On the freed territory Kruševo Republic was
established which lasted for 10 days and Nikola Karev was proclaimed president. He
wrote the Kruševo Manifesto which called all peoples that live in Macedonia to join
them in the struggle for freedom.
Hidden up in the mountains between the woods, Kruševo has managed to preserve
a genuine appeal. The town has the same layout as a century ago and around 80
traditional houses are preserved, so it is a good place to admire and learn about
traditional architecture. The town is a winter skiing center with paths good for
beginners.
