Adkins Residence : Inspiration photos

Kris and Valerie Adkins have been referred to you by Monica

Stewart. They live in the Gold Coast district and their

residence dates back to 1888. They love the historic details,

ornate wood moldings and fantastic location their home

provides. However, they are in dire need of updating. Kris and

Valerie frequently entertain at their home and the floor plan

isn’t cohesive to their typical evening of 10 quests. The

kitchen and powder room don’t function well and they’d like to

remove the first floor bedroom but possible add an office “area”

where one or both could handle quick calls or use a laptop

before heading into the office. Ceilings are 10’drywall and the

wood floor is to remain. Doors are oak and paneled and there

are more in the basement in storage. Existing windows

remain.
