Wewelcomeapplicationsfromanypost-primaryschoolswithintheWELBandNEELBareas.Wearelookingforvibrant,forward-thinkingschoolswithsupportiveseniormanagement,enthusi-asticandmotivatedteachers,andICTequipment/planssuitabletoachieveaimsandgoalssetout.FinalapplicationsmustbesubmittedbytheprincipalAND(lead)HoDofproposeddepartment(s).

WHOCANAPPLY?

PARTNERSHIPOUTLINEOurPost-PrimaryPartnershipProgrammeoffersschoolsanexcitingcustomisedpro-grammeofuptotwoyears’trainingandsupport.Theaimofthepartnershipistohelpschoolsincreasetheiruseofcreativedigitalmediaandtechnologies,beginningbyfocus-ingtrainingandsupportoneither:(i) onekeydepartmentor(ii) keystafffromanareaoflearningwitha sharedfocusor(iii) keystaffcollaboratingonanagreed cross-curricularproposalTosupportdevelopmentofICTstrategyandpractice,partnerschoolshaveaccesstofocuseddepartmentalstafftraining,in-classsupportsessionsandtargetedteacherprofes-sionaldevelopment,aswellastechnicalsup-portandassistancetokeystaffthroughout.Wewillworkstrategicallywithseniorman-agement,viatheschool’sdevelopmentplan,

andICTCo-ordinatorsandsupportkeystaffthroughimplementation.Weaskschoolstoputforwardaclearpro-posal(tobecompletedby(lead)HoD)attheapplicationstagefromeither:(i) onekeydepartmentor(ii) keystafffromanareaoflearningwitha sharedfocusor(iii) keystaffcollaboratingonanagreed cross-curricularproposal[Pleasenote:finalapplicationistobesubmit-tedbyprincipaland(lead)HoDofproposeddepartment(s).]ThepartnershipprogrammeisatthecoreofwhatwedointheCLCandrepresentsthelargestinvestmentofourtime,capitalandresources.SuccessfulpartnershipschoolswillbeexpectedtosubmitexamplesofupdatestotheirICTstrategies,schemesofwork,lessonplans,UICTtasksandotherpositiveoutcomes.Whereappropriate,thesemaybesharedwiththewidereducationcommunityasexamplesofgoodpractice.
