WewelcomeapplicationsfromanyprimaryschoolswithintheWELBandNEELBareas.Wearelookingforvibrant,forward-thinkingschoolswithsupportiveseniormanagement,enthu-siasticandmotivatedteachers,andICTequipment/planssuitabletoachieveaimsandgoalssetout.Finalapplicationsmustbesubmittedbytheprincipal.

WHOCANAPPLY?

PARTNERSHIPOUTLINETheNerveCentreCLC’sPrimaryPartnershipProgrammeoffersfiveprimaryschoolsanexcitingopportunitytodevelopthecreativeuseofdigitaltechnologiesintheirclassrooms.SuccessfulschoolswillworkwiththeCLCtosustainablygrowtheiruseofcreativedigitalmediaacrossthecurriculumandthewholeschool.Weallwanttoimproveourschools,seesupportforcommittedteachersandgiveyoungpeoplebetteropportunitiesineduca-tionandlife.Wewillworkstrategicallywithseniormanage-mentviatheschool’sdevelopmentplanandsupportkeystaffthroughimplementation.Emphasiswillbeplacedonapproachestoraisingstandardsandwholeschoolimprove-

ment(“EverySchoolAGoodSchool”,Lit-eracyandNumeracy,UICT).Theprogrammeofstafftraining,targetedteacherprofessionaldevelopment,ICTCoordinatorsupportandtechnicalsupportandassistanceistailoredtomeetyourschool’sneeds.ThepartnershipprogrammeisatthecoreofwhatwedointheCLCandrepresentsthelargestinvestmentofourtime,capitalandresources.SuccessfulpartnershipschoolswillbeexpectedtosubmitexamplesofupdatestotheirICTstrategies,schemesofwork,lessonplans,UICTtasksandotherpositiveoutcomes.Whereappropriate,thesemaybesharedwiththewidereducationcommunityasexamplesofgoodpractice.
