FAQ

Community Clubs: Team Allocation & SPORTS TG

• Team Allocation and SportsTG for Community Clubs

1. Clubs and Associations that use SportsTG will follow the same process they did previously with MyFootballClub – the player records will be uploaded into SportsTG and you will need to build your Team Sheets in this tool.

2. The Playfootball system has a Team Management function for clubs who want to sort their players into teams within Playfootball – note these teams are not uploaded into the SportsTG competition management portal (only the players are)

3. To-date, we are awaiting the developers to provide additional team list reporting and the ability to generate Team ID cards through this part of the system. The FNSW Online Services team will provide a guide with more details about Team Allocation.

• Team Allocation and SportsTG for non-Communiyt Clubs eg NPL, AYL etc

- The FNSW competitions team will communicate to you the process required to be followed for these types of competitions.

• Team Allocation and 3rd Party Vendors eg Icompman, Clubmate

- FFA and your provider will update you on the instructions for team allocation.

KNOWN ISSUES

10

Photo Upload errors

ISSUE: Some participants are finding that during their registration they get an error when trying to upload a photo, thus not allowing them to proceed with the registration

• STATUS: This item is resolved as at Feb 7th 4pm

• Tips regarding Photo Upload:

1. Once a photo is uploaded, click on the small disk icon on the grey toolbar to SAVE the image before proceeding

2. If you edit the image, rotate/crop etc, click on the small disk icon on the grey toolbar to SAVE the image before proceeding

3. Administrators can edit player photos by editing the player record and selecting "Public Profile" > right-click the image and save it to your desktop > Select the photo and upload it to display the editing toolbar, edit and click on the grey disk to save and then also click on the blue SAVE button (just in case)

11

De-registrationrequests

ISSUE: De-Registrations displaying some records from other clubs and associations

• STATUS: This is a known issue with FFA

• Interactsport are working to have this resolved soon.

• In the interim, please only action re-registration requests that pertain to your club/association

12

Unclaimedplayer records and NEW FFA numbers

ISSUE: Registered players with new FFA numbers because they didn't claim their old MFC player history

• STATUS: This is awaiting FFA solution

• Known impacts:

1. If players don't claim their old profile the system will create a new FFA number

2. The registration record is not considered as a 'Duplicate' - it is a new 2019 registration entry

3. The Playfootball system has a ‘Merge Person Records’ function that will attempt to join two profiles together. As at Feb 8th, FFA have recommended that clubs DO NOT use this function until further notice.

4. FFA have instructed us to wait until further notice regarding the management of these "new" records.

Football FinderJuniors 12-18yrs missing green ticks

ISSUE: The Club Football Finder screens no longer show green ticks for Juniors 12-18 categories. This is a new issue that occurred during a migration on Feb 2nd.

• STATUS: This item requires a manual fix by club/association admins

• Note:

• The Football Finder screen does not affect or link to the club registration packages on the Club Welcome page- it is simply a visual representation of the player age groups on a the FFA public club finder web page

• The Football Finder details come from the Organisation Details page in Playfootball admin.

• Manual Solution:

1. Clubs should manually reset the Junior 12-18 categories by editing theORGANISATION> Organisation Details> Programs section.

2. Manually add the Club Football, 12-18, for male and female and save your Organisation Details page. This will update the Football Finder page overnight.
