Usuallylasagnabakesat350andMud'sbeenworkingonimprovingsomeofthefrontofthisandgotitgoingforusandhealsoinstalledatemperaturegaugeinthedoor,whichfluctuatesalotwhenweopenthedoor,butwe'veoneonthedoor,oneinside.Sowe'vebeenopeningthedoorandslowingdownthewoodfeedtocoolitoffalittlebitsowegettothat350forthelasagna.Wewantthespaghettiflavoredcaketocookabouthalfanhour,fortyfiveminutes.IknowthatfromEricaandFred'sandotherpeopleexperimentsthatsometimesthelowerrackcooksalittleslowerwemightneedtofliptheseafterabouttwentyminutes,tradethemaroundalittlebit.Butthat'swhatyoudoinaregularoventoo.Alotoftimesyouneedto

tradethingsaround.Andyeah,we'llalsobepoppingsomesausagesinonthethirdracktheresowewillbefeedingacrowd.

Ohyes,Iwillputchickensausagesintheretoo.ThesausageswillgoalotquickerthanthelasagnasoIwantedtoputthemintowardstheend.

Theexternaltemperaturegaugelooksgood.We'regonnatakeapeek.Ohlook,thosesausageslookgreat.They'regettingbrown,justhowwelikeandohyoucansmellem.Andyoucansmellthespaghettiflavoredcake.Iamgoingtotakethefoiloff.Mud'sbeenworkingonthisoverheresodon'thavemysideboardavailable.Thisistheveganone,wedidalittlebitofatoppingwithpinenutsandoliveoil.Lookatthat,exactlyat350insideandlookatthelasagnabubblingawayrightbythetemperaturegauge.Yeahthatlasagnalooksgreat,Ijustwanttobrownthetopsalittlebit.Somebodymighthavetocleanthecheeseoffthatfoil.Youknowitwouldatough,toughjobforsomebody.

We'lljustgetthatbrownedalittlebitandthetemperaturedidn'tevendropthatmuch.It'spumpingoutgoodheatuphere.WhenIswitchedthelasagnaswhenitwasabouthalfwaythroughitlookedliketherewerejustafewcoalsleftintheburnchambersowehadsomemorescrapfromthewoodshopandIput,Ithinkthreepiecesofscrapinthewoodshopanditcookedthelasagnastheotherhalfofthewayandwe'vestillgotplentyofwoodintheretofinishoffbrowningthetopsofthosewithjustafewsticksofwoodanditstayedatalovelytemperature.

It'stime.Icanonlycarryoneatatime.Butohitsmellsgood.
