Papa Romano's Summer Clean 2014

As you know, we won Summer Clean 2013. We try to keep our store clean year round, and maintain the shape we were in when last year's contest took place. So we are always cleaning and trying to keep our store in top shape.

Even so, there were still a few big things we decided to do for this year's Summer Clean competition to stand out.

We kept up with routine store maitaince, such as getting our fire

system checked.

With this year's hot summer we needed our A/C working. We went

up on the roof to clean our A/C units and check the filters.

Needless to say, the filters needed to be replaced.

We had to break out the power washer again this year to keep up on our cleaning this past season

One thing Jim marked us down for was our back area, and pepsi crate

Our oven was due for a cleaning around this time again...

and up to date uniforms

Along the lines of our employee's, we had to clean house with out crew

and let some people go...

And hire new employees to get trained up

for the upcoming

busy winter

We also hired an after hours only

employee (take not to time sheet hours) that comes in only to clean and keep up

on keeping everything in our

store spotless

We also hired someone to

come in each weekend and profesional clean our windows

We cleaned behind and under rarely

moved things around the store

Another thing missing was a radio in our lobby for ambient noise for customers, so we added that

We even special ordered some expensive cleaner to clean out all of

our drains in the store.

We had two makelines that were going out on us. One was constantly leaking from the condensor, and the other wouldn't keep temp properly

It was nice having a new

salad bar, but it was lacking the double shelf we

were used to

Our new pizza bar finally has speed rails like we've needed for so long! No

more marking us down for that one Jim!

We couldn't live without our double shelf over the salad bar, so we

ordered one and had one made to fit our new make line.

With our new makelines, new employees, and after hours cleaning, we will continue to

maintain the shape of our store throughout the upcoming busy

season.The only thing we need know to improve the look of the store is

digital menu boards!
