Special Prevention Service for small Companies - Legislation
AUVA was entrusted by parliament to provide a free prevention service for small enterprises
Workers Health and Safety Protection Act (ASchG)
“AUVAsicher” Since 1. January 2000 all
companies are required to have a prevention service – regardless the number of employees
Target Group of AUVAsicher
companies up to 50 employees companies with branch offices:
up to 50 employees per office up to 250 employees within the whole company
the employees have to be insured at the AUVA (The following sectors are exempted: railway, public services, self-employed agriculturing and farming, communities, employees in private households, public administration)
