• Incarnational —emphasizes embodying Christ with special focus on indigenous people serving within their own people group

• Church-based —underscores the church as God’s primary way to accomplish his purpose in the world

• Evangelistic —emphasizes the proclamation of the salvation gospel of Jesus Christ
