Opportunities are created here everyday!
Education Week began yesterday with a gathering of
school leaders from across the West Wyalong network of
schools. Thank you to Michelle Tough for supplying the
photo of our captains receiving their leadership awards!
Our Education Week assembly will be held tomorrow
from 10.30am and will be followed by a BBQ.
The assembly will focus on this years theme,
Today’s schools-creating tomorrows world.
Come along and hear from our students what it is they
enjoy about school and what they aspire to be.
Last week I had the opportunity to go to Sydney to
participate in training to support the External Validation
of schools process. I am looking forward to participating
in the program as a Peer Principal again this year and
will be taking part in the process of school validation
across other schools during this term and next.
Everyday is Open Day at Wyalong Public School!
Have a great week,
Meg Staples
Our school captains are pictured with Mrs Karen Burke, Director of
Educational Leadership, receiving their Leadership Awards at yesterdays
West Wyalong network, inter-school Education Week Assembly.
Natayah Dolan for improved reading skills.
Toby Thacker for having a enthusiastic approach to his reading.
Charlotte Manton for great application and enthusiasm with
her CWA poster.
