Keys to Success: Ongig 101

Register in the Ongig Platform

You will receive an email invitation email to register at Ongig.com.

After registering, you will receive a Welcome Email, outlining 3 simple steps to get started in Ongig.

Connect Your Team

1.  After team members connect their Ongig accounts to their LinkedIn profiles within Ongig, their LinkedIn profile images appear on the Ongig job pages, showing a human connection to each job.

2.  The job owner’s image delivers a personal element for engaging with potential candidates who have questions/comments when they land on job pages.

Navigate: Home

Your Home tab outlines activity, from job applications, view, and comments to social shares.

Navigate: Jobs

Easily copy a job’s URL from the little hand on the right, edit media and/or content and delete jobs.

Assign Jobs to a Hiring Manager In the Jobs tab, assign team members to manage jobs in a few clicks.

Navigate Media: Build & Tag Your Library ●  Leverage existing

media.

●  Easily add media from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube.

●  Tag your media by job category and location.

●  Auto-match media with relevant jobs from you ATS.

●  Search media by date added, location & category.

Navigate: Talent Network

Your Talent tab is a database of talent sourcing. The Talent Network delivers searching for leads by tags & location, emailing leads, grouping leads into folders, and organizing and evaluating prospects.

Navigate: Analytics

Your Analytics tab delivers global visibility. Know where your jobs are receiving applications, views, shares, and comments, and measure success by the numbers. Export Jobs Data easily in the “My Jobs” view as a csv file.

Navigate: Sharing

Your Sharing tab shows who and where your jobs are being socially shared, on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Easily track sharing and measure success across social channels.

Navigate: Comments

Your Comments tab shows all comments on pages where you are the Job Owner. Easily and efficiently manage your conversations with talent here by clicking on the status tag.

Navigate: Settings

Your Settings tab is where you enter/update your email & contact information, turn comments ON, connect your LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter accounts, activate job distribution, and add new & manage members of your team.

Best Practices: Social Sharing

Click the Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn icons on the job pages to share opportunities.

Best Practices: Job Distribution Ongig jobs are the most engaging and interactive in the world.

Have all your distribution partners consume your Ongig job feed. to maximize candidate experience and deliver consistent messaging across all channels.

Easily contact Indeed, Glassdoor, SimplyHired & LinkedIn via Settings.

Best Practices: Engage with Candidates The hiring manager for each job receives an email update for each job comment posted.

Responses can be made on the job page itself, and also through the Ongig platform.

Prompt responses demonstrate active sourcing

Answering candidates’ questions engages talent overall.

Best Practices: Leverage Existing Social Reach

If you have a company Facebook and/or Twitter page, promote your Ongig job pages on these channels to increase your reach.
