Dewittville Couple Feted P i t Anniversary
DEWITTVILLE — The Anniversary dub honored Mr. and Mrs LaVerne G. Galloway, at their home Tuesday evening, celebrating their 35th wedding anniversa ry, which was Aug. 15. There were 25 present Mrs. Mearl Galloway showed color slides taken in Florida. Cleveland and Pittsburgh, also some by her son, Howard, when in Germany and Paris.
The president of the club, Mrs. John Howe, hostess for the party, was assisted in serving by Mrs. Vincent Galloway and Mrs. Harlow Gage.
The honored couple were remembered with gifts, bouquets and cards of congratulation. Their three sons, Merton of New Smyrna Beach. Fla.; Harrison of Washington, D.C., and A-lc Richard Galloway, who has been in Germany for 2% years, could not be present for the occasion.
G.LF. to Meet On Crolle Lawn
JDRESTVTLLE — The annual G.L.F. meeting will be held Thursday August 26, 1954 on the lawn of James Crolle, 29 Lodi Street, agent buyer. Chicken barbecue at twelve o'clock noon.
A short business meeting will start at 1:30 followed by entertainment. At this time brief reports and two new committeemen elected to replace James Griffin and Raymond' Kuhrt whose terms expire this year. Nelson, Hall, chairman.
Stockton Auxiliary Names Year's Officers
STOCKTON — The Stockton Volunteer-Firemen's Auxiliary held its regular meeting Monday night, Aug. 17 at th Firehall with the
President, Winnie Holtz, presiding. en members were present. Election of officers was held
with the following elections: President Lucille Baker. Vice President Winnie Holtz, Secretary Irene Conaway, Treasurer Ruby Dieter.
The next regular meeting will be a banquet. Frances Marsh and Dorothy Kelly were appointed as a committee to determine the place to hold the banquet. •
PTA Committee Meets At Foresrville
FORESTVILLE — The P.T.A. budget was read by Ray Hall at a meeting of the executive committee, held at the home of the president, Mrs. Lois Hall. The program, which was submitted by Mrs. Mary Kelley, was adopted.
The County P.T.A. Council will meet at Foresrville Central School Sept. 13 for a 6:30 tureen dinner, it was announced.
Lily Dale Plans Community Club Day
LILY DALE — Rev. Arthur A. Myers will speak at Lily Dale Auditorium at 2:30 P.M. Monday, Community Club Day at Lily Dale. Mr. Myers is president of the club and director of the National Spiritualist Association of Churches of America.
Mrs. Betty Clayton Possehl, international missionary, will be message bearer. Mrs. Possehl recently returned from a missionary tour of Great Britain.

Mrs. Agnes Neuendorf has returned home after spending a month with Miss Verna Henderson, Cleveland Heights.

Mr. and Mas. Leroy Harrington. Mrs. Belle Campbell attended the Northern Chautauqua retired teachers meeting in Dunkirk last week in the Episcopal Parish House
Mr. "and Mrs. William H. Nelson attended the Spanish American War Reunion at Governor Fenton, Jamestown, and also recently attended the Nelson family reunion in Community House, Stillwater.
Ninety-three relatives attended the Annual Crowell Reunion at Firemens Fraternity Grounds Stockton, Sunday.
Mrs. Addle Morrison is visiting her brothers in Edinboro, and Sparantsbury, Pa.
Mrs. Marion Bowker attended an American Legion picnic at Lake Erie State Park, Brocton.

Mr. and Mrs. John Harris, Fort Thomas, Ky., have been visiting their daughter, Mrs. John Bradi-gan and Mr. Bradigan and family.

Mrs. Harold Glasford was hostess to some of her former high school mates from Buffalo, Angola Beach, Stow and sister of one schoolmate from Switzerland.
Mrs. Ellamay Slintz attended the Austin-Daggett family reunion Saturday at Taylors Grove Lawton.
Rev. and Mrs. Emory- Bill-Ingsley and family, are on vacation to visit his Barents'. Mr. and Mrs. S. Emory Billingsley, Franklin. Pa. The Methodist Church pulpit will be filled Sunday by S. Gonkm Corter, Fredonia.
There will be no family fellowship for two weeks.

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Walters and Charles Kelley, son of | Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kelley, were married Aug. 5 at the Stockton Federated Church parsonage, with Rev. Lloyd Chelton officiating.

having a new barn built, to replace the one that was destroyed by fire some time ago.
