What’s the difference??Both are measures of resolution, which is defined as the fineness of detail that can be distinguished in an image.

In order for something to be true HD, it must have a resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Must be a widescreen

format incorporation a

16:9 aspect ratio.

High Resolution is a more nebulous term and can refer to any display with a resolution that is sharp and finely

detailed.

720p/1080i – HD

1080p – “Full” HD / BluRay Format

2K – Cinema format eq. to 1080p (2048 x 1080)
