Why should we do muscular training for marathon?• Reduce the risk of injury• improve muscle strength/ endurance• Improve muscle balance• Increase flexibility

Fear of bulking up?

Injury Prevention

• Do not overtrain, get enough rest• Strength training for improving

-Weak muscles and Muscle imbalance

• Reduce muscle stiffness• Must do warm-up and cool-down

-dynamic stretching, static stretching, foam rolling

The best way to reduce risk of injury is to strengthen your muscles!
