Mafia/Gangster Film Season – Potential Films

Gangster/Mafia Season for a Movie Channel!

•  Audience: Most likely men. Knowledgeable about films, will have heard about and probably already seen at least some of these films.

•  Set of season trailers (5x10secs) , one for each movie but all with common elements: Station graphic and titles, (for example ‘Gangster Thusdays 10pm’)

Design Direction •  Dark shadowy backgrounds with white texts is used in the graphic

design of most gangster/mafia films, I will use a matching style of visuals for my sequences

•  I will use the same font for each sequence, a plain sans without much visual meaning in itself (Meta, Frutiger etc) or a simple serif (Minion Pro, Palatino)

•  Each sequence to have a different ‘feel’ using visual a element from each film, sound clips, objects, colours, music from the film. Using a moving camera to pan around these

Graphics will be used from an existing film channel: Film4 or TCM, either at the beginning or end of the sequences.
