Historical Context

The LEGO Group was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen. The

company has passed from father to son and is now owned by Kjeld

Kirk Kristiansen, a grandchild of the founder.

In the beginning of February, The LEGO Movie premieres in a

number of countries. The movie is written by Phil Lord

and Chris Miller and produced by Warner Brothers. It is the first time

the LEGO universe has been pictured in a movie.

the awareness of the film viral through that.

This is the first teaser trailer that they released for the LEGO Movie. It

doesn’t show a lot about the film storyline but shows some funny

Target Audience

The main target audience for the film is mainly children. Despite this

there is a lot of adult humour that is placed within the film which

would interest the parents of children to go and watch it with them.

Sroryline

The LEGO Movie is a 3D animated film which follows lead character,

Emmet a completely ordinary LEGO mini-figure who is identified as

the most "extraordinary person" and the key to saving the Lego

universe. Emmet and his friends go on an epic journey to stop the

evil tyrant, Lord Business.
