Movember Event Planning

• Work in groups of four. You and your friends have decided to get involved with Movember by organizing an event. You are having an informal meeting to discuss your plans.

• Your teacher will give you a role card giving details of the type of event you would prefer.

• Before the meeting you should spend a few minutes preparing some arguments in favour of organizing this type of event.

• Now have your meeting. During the meeting you should agree on the following:

- what sort of event you will hold- where you will hold it

- what will happen during the event- how you will promote it- what amount of money you expect to raise

• One member of the group should ‘chair’ the meeting.
