We recognize the need…

To redesign a disposable camera to increase Kodak’s revenue.

With the increase in popularity of digital cameras, there has been a decrease in the demand for disposable cameras. Kodak is in need of implementing new ideas to improve the market.

The following survey was used to narrow down a market that would be most interested in purchasing disposable cameras.

Conclusion To help market the disposable camera to

children, we created a design that includes features such as larger buttons, an easier on/off flash switch, a larger eye lens, picture directions, a waterproof shell, and a wrist loop.

With these added features (which will not dramatically increase the cost of production) the cameras can be sold in bulk packages and distributed to a multitude of classrooms.
