This presentation (originally given to a group of app developers and mobile geeks in the Twin Cities) tries to identify the major "pain points" and provide solutions.

• …if all you care about are “superphones” they already do a pretty good job of supporting most websites

• Can use HTML5 & CSS3 to create fully interactive & rich media experiences that rival many apps

3. One simple low-end version

• Auto-detect script to send users to the correct site

• Hardest part is limiting what you put on the site – choosing content

• TIP: Always include a link back to the main site

4. Multiple versions

• Content adaptation vs. distinct sites

• Key to making this work: a really good device database and really smart scripting to send the right version to the right device
