KeywordsQuadrant: refers to the four quarters of the coordinate plane. Coordinate: a pair of numbers, the first shows the distance along and the second number shows the distance up or down. Transformation: movement of objects in the coordinate plane. Translate: moves a shape up, down or from side to side but it does not change its appearance in any other way. Reflect: a transformation where each place in a shape appears at an equal distance on the opposite side of a given line – the line of reflection.
