I am teaching a class – introduction to online teaching.

By the end of the class, Students need to develop their own class in a LMS.

I am using 3D GameLab to help students develop a LMS skillset.

I want students to be familiar with all the different tools available to a LMS.

What is 3D GameLab?

Participants work through quests to develop skills or knowledge.

Quests become available as quests are completed thus content can be scaffold.

Participants earn awards, badges, levels, and achievements as they progress through quests.

How does a learner progress through a

quest?

Learners select and start a quest.

Learners review the content, videos, audio, etc. and perform required task.

Tasks can auto complete or be reviewed by the instructor. If the work is not satisfactory, it can be returned for rework.

How does an instructor manage

quests?

Quests can be uniquely created or cloned from the Armory.

Feedback can be received on each quest from the learner’s perspective.

3D GameLab lets an instructor track progression by Quest.
