 To transfer information from a Time Machine backup or another disk,select“FromaTimeMachinebackuporotherdisk”andclickContinue.SelectthebackuportheotherdiskthatyouwanttomigrateinformationfromandclickContinue.Followtheonscreendirectionsfortransferringtheinformation.

Ifyoudon’tintendtokeeporuseyourothercomputer,it’sbesttodeauthorizeitfromplayingmusic,videos,oraudiobooksthatyou’vepurchasedfromtheiTunesStore.Deauthorizingacomputerpreventsanysongs,videos,oraudiobooksyou’vepurchasedfrombeingplayedbysomeoneelse,andfreesupanotherauthorizationforuse.Forinformationaboutdeauthorizing,chooseiTunesHelpfromtheHelpmenuiniTunes.

 Anaccountnameandpassword Anorganizationalnamethat’suniqueinyourcompany Ahostname,whichcanbeforyourlocalnetworkonly,foryourlocalnetworkandVPNaccessfromtheInternet,oranInternethostnameyoupurchasedfromadomainnameregistrar.

 Detailednetworksettings,includingIPaddress,subnetmask,andDNSservers.ThenetworksettingsmaybeprovidedbyyourInternetrouteroraserveronyournetwork.Ifso,itshouldbeconfiguredtoprovideyourserverthesameIPaddressallthetime(staticmappingorDHCPreservation).

ForhelpwithServerAssistant,clicktheHelpbuttoninanypane.

ForhelpsettingupMacOSXLionServerremotelyonaMacminiwithoutakeyboard,mouse,ordisplay,opentheServerapplicationandchooseServerHelpintheHelpmenu.
