Lockers

Children can have a locker if they would like one.

Children are advised to use these to store belongings rather than carry

everything around with them all day.

Please follow the guidance on the letter you were sent about lockers.

Uniform

The uniform policy is also on the school

website.

Just a reminder to please label clothes

and belongings.

Behaviour Expectations

Positive behaviour contributes to an

effective learning environment. The core

principles and expectations are for

students to:

• arrive on time

• wear the correct uniform

• have the appropriate equipment

• be polite and respectful to everyone

• respect the school environment

With specific regard to behaviour, the aim

is to:

• strike the right balance between

rewards and sanctions.

• reward consistently good behaviour

and also improving behaviour.

Extra-Curricular Clubs and Activities

We expect all Year 7 children to sign up to and

attend at least one club before half term. Clubs

are generally at no financial cost to you.

A list of these will be on the school website (and

an example of the clubs that have run this year

are on the following slide).

We will hold a “Freshers’ Fayre” event to

promote clubs and teams within the year group.
