STEP 1 Preparation

Ø  Set your targets and research them Ø  Google, LinkedIn, social media Ø  Commonalities, interests

Ø  Prepare questions

Ø  Dress code Ø  When in doubt, overdress

STEP 2 The art of Conversation

Ø  What to talk about?

Ø  What is active listening?

Ø  Goal = to make a connection

STEP 3 The Exit

Ø  Don’t just walk away

Ø  Show gratitude – thank delegates
