We offer comprehensive dinner packages, buffet stations, Heavy Hors d’oeuvres, passed canapés, themed menus, and desserts, all prepared with the freshest ingredients by our award winning
executive chef and his culinary team.

Liquor upgrades available per bottle in addition to premium bar package price. Hosts may
order bottles in whatever quantities they choose, but due to TABC restrictions, clients may
not retain leftover liquor after event.

Frequently asked Venue Questions
Can I rent Las Velas for Ceremony only? o Yes, Las Velas does allow for ceremony only events - the cost is $1,150.00
for 1.5 hours. Weekday ceremonies can take place between 10 AM and 5 PM and weekend ceremonies based on times and availability.
What is the maximum capacity?
o 250 Guests Does there have to be a minimum?
o No, Las Velas does not require any minimums for food and beverage. How do my guests park?
o Complimentary valet is offered for weekend events only. Is there an in-house caterer?
o Yes. This ensures a higher level of communication and execution of your event.
Can I use an outside caterer?
o No. We provide all catering and bar service in house with over 25 years of catering experience, on and off premise.
Can I bring my own liquor?
o No outside alcohol is allowed in Las Velas. We are subject to strict state regulations and there are no exceptions.
Is there an extra cost to do both the ceremony and reception?
o There are no additional fees to have both ceremony and reception in-house.
Does the venue rental cost include food and liquor?
o No. the venue rental cost includes only the space. See page 3 for more information.
When can I schedule my wedding rehearsal?
o Rehearsal time is complimentary and based on time availability. Keep in mind that it cannot always be the evening before the event.
What is the deposit?
o The deposit is 50% of the venue rental fee and is non-refundable. When is the balance due?
o The balance is due 60 days prior to your event.

What are the methods of payment I can use?
o We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Cards.
When is the setup for my event?
o Setup begins 3 hours directly before your event. Extra setup time is $100 per hour.
When is the breakdown after my event?
o Breakdown is one hour immediately following your event. Extra breakdown time is $100 per hour
Does Las Velas plan my event?
o Las Velas is not responsible for planning your event. We work with your planner or coordinator to execute your event. Planners can be recommended upon request.
Does Las Velas include the linens and centerpieces?
o Las Velas does not include linens, centerpieces or floral. Linens can be provided at a nominal charge.
What is the cancellation policy?
o Upon cancellation you will forfeit your 50% non-refundable deposit. How do I go about rescheduling my event?
o There will be a $500 fee to change your event date. Please keep in mind that replacement dates are based on date and time availability
How many hours is my event?
o Weekend events are four hours, additional time can be purchased for an additional fee.
Can I choose my own vendors?
o With the exception of catering and bar, Las Velas allows outside vendors. Las Velas can provide preferred vendors or you can choose your own.

Is there a cake cutting fee? o Our expert staff will happily cut and pass your cake without a fee.
What equipment do you provide?
o Our service packages include staff, buffet equipment, china, and flatware.
What is the payment schedule? o A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to book all catering and bar events. This
deposit is due at minimum 60 days before event date. Final payment and final minimum guest count are due two weeks before the event. For events booked within 60 days of the event date, the deposit is as soon as possible for booking to be finalized.
Can I get discounted menu pricing? o To uphold our standards we do not discount our menus. We use only the freshest
and highest quality ingredients and food is prepared on-site. Our goal is to provide you great food at your event, please your guests, and protect our reputation.
May we have a tasting? o We serve our most popular dishes at our frequent open house events. Tastings may be
scheduled for clients with booked events only.
