Sight Word Activity Examples

Writing Skills Tony: writing his letters correctly especially

b, d, j, g, y, z, s, p Tony and Jerry: writing complete sentences

using a capital letter, two finger spaces and a period using learned sight words

Goals:-Students will be able to put their sight

words into sentences using capital letters at the beginning of a sentence, two finger spaces in between words, andend a sentence with a period.

Writing activity examples

Spelling/Other -hearing the sounds in each word by

clapping at every letter and saying the sound and then putting it all together

Goals: Students will be able to spell each word with 100% accuracy.

Materials -White board-Notebook-Different types of texts-Independent worksheets
