Types of Conditioning
• Generalization = 2 or more stimuli are similar, the response to them is all the same
• Discrimination = Opposite of generalization
• Extinction = Weakening or fading of the process
• Spontaneous Recovery = The sudden revival of the extinct response
Types of Conditioning
• Taste Aversion = Learned avoidance of a particular food
• Flooding = person if exposed to a large of the stimuli until the response is extinguished
• Counter Conditioning = Pleasant stimuli paired with an unpleasant stimuli
