Software that runs your computer.

Software such as: Word, Excel, Power Point, Reckless Driving.

What is an application?

Commands and/or programs written to destroy files or the hard drive of your computer.

What is a virus?

A picture on the desktop representing a file, folder and/or application.

What is an icon?

Folders inside of folders; used to stay organized.

What are nested folders?

Allows you to personalize your account.

What are the system preferences?

A place to store documents; helps keep you organized.

Your log in; keeps your documents just for you - no one else has access to them.
