Inspirational Motivational Thoughts“Appreciating Even Our Smallest of Accomplishments”

The majority of us live a lifestyle of 100mph that only stops in the evenings for a few hours to

“chill out” before sleeping and then getting back into the fast lane for the remainder of the week.

The heavy workload ahead of us can seem daunting at best; like no matter how much effort we put in, the pile of paperwork is still climbing

with no peak in sight.

A way to beat this feeling though, is with a simple attitude change. If you’ve achieved something, be

it just a small accomplishment, recognise it.

If you’ve tackled a third of the pile in record time, or even if you’ve managed to make it

through to naptime with your 3 year old, this is something to feel good about. Recognise your

hard work and feel good about it.

Inspirational Motivational Thoughts

Everyone enjoys something different as a little relief. If your idea of ten minutes of down-time is a

cup of coffee and digestive biscuit while walking round the block, then do that!

It’s like revising for an exam in school; discipline practiced into your breaks gives your brain the necessary rest-bite is only going to help you get back to the books, ready to learn

again.

Naturally we grow bored of things. Sure, sometimes we don’t have the luxury of being able to take a

break and have a sit down or walk around the block. But when we do, it’s important we make the most

of it.

If there’s a weekend ahead with at least one day off, then make that day yours. If your other half has a

similar situation, then be sure to share the occasion.

Plan ahead so that you’re not left wondering what to do on your invaluable day off from

the grind.

Work hard. Play hard.

I never really understood the meaning of this until I grew up out of my teenage years.

Then it was very little work and all play; now it’s the other way round.

For this reason we must appreciate our accomplishments no matter how big or small, and

then make the most of them.

So if you’ve finished what seems like a morning from hell, or 6 months of solid grinding, be sure to reward

yourself in whatever way seems best to you.

After all, you worked hard this. After all we can’t appreciate even the smallest

accomplishments in life then how can we love life?
