In 2011 under the project of “LINC” USA international development agency USAID Mykolaiv took part in thein the competitive selection of land plots, that have the greatest potential for their development under the industrial and logistics parks to attract investors. As a result the land plot of Mykolaiv passed the competitive selection, and the group of experts group of experts on the development of industrial parks USAІD «Local investments and national competitiveness» in cooperation with structural units of Mykolaiv City Council developed a conceptual design of the industrial park at the territory of the land plot of ІІ Industrial Zone, that can become a basis of future concept of industrial park in Mykolaivin accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On industrial parks”.
Located within the city limits attached to old industrial sites (industrial “edge” of the city)
New General plan, that supports the concept.
No direct collision with residential areas
Relevant site size to the city size – sufficient labor sources
Excellent access from national/regional road network Mykolaiv – Kherson and Mykolaiv-Krivyj Rig
