The session will focus on:
What employee engagement is and why it matters, particularly in government;
Why measuring employee engagement is critically important, how to measure and analyze the level of engagement, and how to act on the results;
What public sector organizations have done to improve – and sustain – engagement;
Building a culture of engagement; and
The role of HR in improving engagement.
This will be an interactive workshop. Participants will discuss what engagement is and how to measure and improve it, as well as barriers to measuring and improving engagement in their organizations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to assess their own level of engagement, and begin individual action planning.
