How to find an RSS Feed

1. If you want to subscribe to a podcast, you’re going to need the RSS feed. This is the hyperlink that provides your RSS reader with all the latest episodes from a podcast.

2. You can find the RSS feed on any website that delivers a podcast.

3. If a website delivers any sort of RSS feed, whether it be for a podcast, newsletter, blog, or other info, you will find this symbol on your internet browser.

4. For Firefox this symbol will be just to the right in the address bar.

5. For Internet Explorer this symbol is almost in the same place, but not directly in the address bar, just a little loser and to the right.

6. If a website does not have an RSS feed, there will be no symbol in FireFox and in the Internet Explorer the symbol becomes grey and un-clickable.

7. Click on this symbol in the toolbar of your preferred Internet browser. You will be directed to the RSS feed for the page. For example for CBC News I am directed to this page.

8. The URL that is now displayed in your address bar is the RSS feed. Copy the URL.

9. Open a new window. Type the URL to your blog in the address bar (www.oitqblogs.com/communities/_________) Log in.

10. Once you are logged in you will see the community administration panel. Click on Add Feeds

11. Click on Create New Category.

12. Complete the Information on the Feed Category Editor . Add Name, description is optional.

13. Click on Create New Feed.

14. Type a title, paste the URL for the RSS feed, and click save.

15. This is what you will see on the home page.

16. This is what you will see when you click on the Feed.
