Whentheinstallerwindowappears,followtheonscreeninstructions.YouwillneedtoAgreetotheservicetermsandallowthesoftwaretomakenetworkconnections.

VI.Registerthesoftware.YouwillneedtoOPENtheSoftTestsoftwareandthenregisterit.Whenaskedforthe“INSTITUTIONID,”usetheappropriatenameaslistedbelow.

Continuingtheregistration,youwillbeaskedforyourSTUDENTIDandPASSWORD.Yourusernamewillincludethenameofthedatabase(above),followedbyyournetworkusername,withtheslashbetween.Seeexample:Username:prefix\yoursuloginname(forexample:suarts\amarchan) Password:thepasswordyouuseforCanvasandtheSUnetwork.Note:Ifyoueverneedto“unregister”SofTestsothatadifferentusercanuseoryoucanaccessanexaminadifferentdatabase,pressthecontrol+command+F7keysatthesametime.ToforceSofTesttoupdate,pressthecontrol+commandkeysandtypethelettersAU.VII.Nowyouarereadytotakeanexam!

Ifyoudon’tseeanyexamsinthedropdownmenu,yourprofessorhasnotpostedtheexamyet.

Note:Whenyoutakeanexam,yourprofessormaysetanexampasswordthatyouwillneedtodownloadthetest.Whenyouarereadytostartthetext,youmusttype:begininthefieldindicated.Onceyougettotheyellowscreen,youhavecompletedtheexam.Besuretomakesureyougettothegreenscreenthatindicatestheexamhasbeensuccessfullyuploadedsoitcanbeevaluated.
