PRESENT PERFECT

Have you ever?Warm- up

You should use this lesson plan after you study the Present Perfect for life experiences with your students. Write the following on the board:

Have you ever.....?

ride a horse see a famous person

be on TV break a bone

forget mother's birthday

receive a love letter eat frog legs

fly to the USA buy a car

move a house

Ask students to make questions with the ideas from the board. Do this as a group activity. Let them ask and answer the questions asking

anyone randomly in the class.

Main activity

Divide students into pairs and ask them to make a list of 5 questions they would ask a celebrity on a talk show. Check their answers.

Play the following Youtube video to them.

Ask students to watch the video and write down the questions they hear in the video. Play the video one more time if needed.

Check their answers.

Follow-up activity

Have similar paddles or pieces of paper prepared prior to the lesson saying I have on one side and I have never on the

other side.

Ask students to role-play the scene they have just seen in the video in pairs.

Ask volunteers to come in front of the class and role play the scene.
