The Application

StyleSlam is a fashion application, hinged around gaming and competition, tied to the social

interactions within Facebook and linked to the eBay concept of trading and getting a bargain.

StyleSlam engages users by tying into their profiles, their daytime-playtime and their social

interactions and experience.

StyleSlam players create an avatar of themselves using an in-game face building application.

Once a StyleSlam player has created their avatarthey can then create their style using an in-game

marketplace.

SyleSlam allows players to compete with each other through buying and selling clothes for a

profit, for Kudos and for fun

The Technology

Some Tips...

* Add the friend-get-friend invite process into the user’s install flow.

* Note that as the platform is constantly evolving, your previous scoping/planning may already be out of date when the time comes to implement it.

* Remember that as Flash is sand-boxed, you need to be aware of potential security issues when trying to trigger javascript functions from within it.

* Allow time for closing potential knowledge gaps when scoping a project, as the documentation for the platform is erratic and incomplete. This is especially important if you are scoping paid client work.
