OnlineApplicationforNewPAN(Form49A)Guidelines

(a) AnapplicantwillfillForm49Aonlineandsubmittheform.(b) Ifthereareanyerrors,rectifythemandresubmittheform.(c) Aconfirmationscreenwithallthedatafilledbytheapplicantwillbedisplayed.(d) Theapplicantmayeithereditorconfirmthesame.(e) Onconfirmation,anacknowledgementwillbedisplayed.Theacknowledgementwillcontainaunique15digitacknowledgementnumber.(f) Theapplicantisrequestedtosaveandprintthisacknowledgement.(g) 'Individual'applicantsshouldaffixtworecentcolourphotographswithwhitebackground(size3.5cmx2.5cm)inthespaceprovidedintheacknowledgement.

Thephotographsshouldnotbestapledorclippedtotheacknowledgement.TheclarityofimageonPANcardwilldependonthequalityandclarityofphotographaffixedontheacknowledgement.

(h) Signature/LeftThumbImpressionshouldonlybewithintheboxprovidedintheacknowledgement.Thesignatureshouldnotbeonthephotographaffixedonrightsideoftheform.Incaseofapplicantsotherthan'Individuals',theauthorizedsignatoryshallsigntheacknowledgementandaffixtheappropriatesealorstamp.Thesignatureshouldnotbeonphotograph.Ifthereisanymarkonphotographsuchthatithinderstheclearvisibilityofthefaceoftheapplicant,theapplicationwillnotbeaccepted.

Signature/Lefthandthumbimpressionshouldbeprovidedacrossthephotoaffixedontheleftsideoftheforminsuchamannerthatportionofsignature/impressionisonphotoaswellasonacknowledgement.

(i) Thumbimpression,ifused,shouldbeattestedbyaMagistrateoraNotaryPublicoraGazettedOfficerunderofficialsealandstamp.(j) AADHAAR IncaseAadhaarnumberofIndividualapplicantisenteredintheapplicationform,thenproofofAadhaaralongwithsupportingdocumentsistobesubmittedto

NSDLeGov. IfcopyofAadhaarisselectedasProofofIdentity/Address/dateofbirth,thenitismandatorytoenterAadhaarnumber. IncaseapplicantisMINOR,Aadhaarofminorshouldbementionedintheapplicationform.(i.e.DonotmentionRepresentativeAssessee'sAadhaarnumber) Aadhaarnumber(ifprovided)wouldbeauthenticatedusingapplicantsdetailsasmentionedinapplicationform.(k) IfcommunicationAddressiswithinIndia (a).ThefeeforprocessingPANapplicationis 106.00( 93.00+14%servicetax).
