Then type “www.slideshare.

com”.And press “Enter”.

This is the “Slideshare”

website initial screen.

Let us go straight to

creating your account.

Click on “Sign-up”.

Since “Slideshare” was acquired by

LinkedIn, the only option to create an account is to join

“LinkedIn”.

So let’s assume that we don’t have

an account with LinkedIn.

Click on “Join LinkedIn”.

This is the registration form.

Obviously, we need to fill it up.

Provide your first name.

Then your last name.

…. your email address.

And your password. Make

sure you can remember it.

Write it in your notes if you feel it

is necessary.

Click “Join Now”.

It will bring you to a few necessary screen for more

details.

… Country (where you are in now).

… and the Postal Code.

… and click “Next”.

Another screen for details.

First, it is asking whether you are a student. I will it to

you to choose.

… your Job Title.

… your Company.

… and the Industry.

… then click “Next”.

This screen will come out. It is for

you to confirm that it is really

you.

You need to check your email for the confirmation code.

So, go to your email account … for this case, I’m

checking my Gmail and check for an email from

LinkedIn.

This is the email from LinkedIn.

Open it.

In the email, you will be provided

with the code and ….

…. click on “Confirm your

email”.

So, go back to Linked

(Slideshare) screen and type in

the “code” as provided to you in

the email.

The click “Verify”.

The next screen is for you to link your

smartphone to LinkedIn.

Select the country you are in.

…. your hand phone number.

…. then click on “Send an SMS”.

You will receive and SMS. It is up

to you if you want to install LinkedIn

into you smartphone.

And voila, you now have an account

not only Slideshare but

LinkedIn as well.
