o Spiders live almost everywhere.

o Some spiders also live in the Artic and on the mountain tops.

o Spiders spend most of their life’s under water.

Where do spiders live?

o Spiders mostly catch their food by web, others catch food by jumping on it’s prey.

o Spiders use their fangs to inject poison into their prey.

o Some spiders even eat each other.

Catching Food

o The Spiders body is divided into two parts, the head and the abdomen.

o All spiders have eight legs.

o On the bottom of their legs they have claws.

The Spiders Body

o After mating with the male the female lays the eggs.

o Some spiders hide the eggs, and some carry it with them.

o The baby spiders are called spider lings, shed their skins as they grow.

Breeding

o There are many different kind of spiders.

o Spiders come in all different sizes big or small.

o Some are poisonous and others are not.

o All spiders eat insects and some other animals.

Many different Spiders

o Every one once in their lives have came to see a daddy long leg.

o Many people call the daddy long leg a spider but it is not true.

o One of the reasons why daddy long legs are not spiders is because it has six eyes not eight like many other spiders.
