Avanade recognized that many ofthe people visiting it’s website haddifficulty locating information. Userscame to the website with a specificpurpose but struggled to navigatepages full of information.

Avanade sponsored our capstoneteam and tasked us with creatinga chatbot for their website.

Ava is a chatbot made using a newMicrosoft platform called BotFramework. Bot Framework usesLUIS to understand human speechand recognize intent behind text.

Leveraging these tools, our teamwas able to deliver a cutting edgechatbot to offer support on Avanade’s website.

Ava is supported on the backend byMicrosoft’s Azure Cloud Services. Ava stores information aboutquestions asked and Ava’s response. We then use storage servers to manipulate our bot’s database.

Azure also offers many insight services which enable us to get livefeedback on performace.
