TRANSCRIPT

Hey there!

I’m Houdini and I hate when things are lost…especially treats

and potential friends

Too Many # of dogs and cats in overcrowded shelters

# of dogs and cats euthanized each year

No matter how you look, the number is too high

But you are doing something

about that

We all like to play and have fun,

right?

Gamification may help

LDR…

How about a few ideas to

chew on?

Idea 1: How about Experience Points?

• Experience points (XP) can help show comparison

• Give points for different skills/abilities:

– Good with kids +10, Amazing with Kids +20, etc.

• Tally up points to give total XP just like in games!

• Badges demonstrate achievement

• Give badges for key areas (like Pal for Paws already):

– House trained, knows tricks, sits on command, etc.

• Badges quickly and visually show accomplishments

Idea 2: Can he get some badges? badges

• Leaderboards can appeal to desire to be on top

• Track based on various aspects:

– Most dogs sponsored, Longest streak sponsoring, etc.

• Leaderboards show up everywhere in our lives

Top 2014 Pals Sponsored 1. Sam G. (4) 2. Mary S. (3) 3. Joe L. (2) 4. Gary B. (2) 5. Jill W. (1)
